HAPPY NATIONAL DONUT DAY!!!

Time to get fresh wit' it. It's been a year since the last donut day, and I imagine for many the memory of the event has faded to a dim memory. I'm here to bring those memories flooding back like a donut to the face shot from a tank full of monkeys while on fire, except more exciting and with sugar.

FRIDAY DONUT DAY! Now it's a once-a-year NATIONAL HOLIDAY TRADITION! Honor this day! This is a time to remember donut days past - peer through the donut hole back in time and remember the donuts. Sure, there were a lot of them, but I bet you don't really remember them - instead you remember the friend who dropped one in the server room that accidentally caused the Isilon server to lose 20% of its storage space, or the one the one you had outside while smoking with your friends that accidentally caught on fire, or the one you and your friends shot with a gun and totally scored a bullseye with, if only there had been some dough up in that nut! But there wasn't!

My point is, it's a day about donuts, sure, but to many of us, it's more than that. It's a day about friends, good times, and fun memories. I can't think of a better way to do that than with a few pictures and a terrible, terrible poem I've written just for everyone:

Woke up in the mornin’ to the donut rays of the sun's donut gaze,

Sweating through the heat of the donut blaze

Hopped into the shower to get my donut sprays,

Headed to the church to do ma’ donut prays.

Drove up the coast by the donut bays

Weavin’ through the streets like a donut maze,

Brought em’ to the office to earn some donut pays and a donut raise,

Like a Jedi Mind Trick with my donut ways!

Left em' in the kitchen where the donut stays so we can donut graze.

Sittin' in their boxes like some donut trays - sweet donut displays

Capitalizin' on the donut craze, eatin' on a donut glaze.

Now I'm sittin' here in a donut haze,
